Our Beginnings
Buttered Buns began in 2018 when our founder, Jane Dough, decided to turn her passion for artisanal bread into a business. After years of perfecting recipes in her home kitchen, Jane opened our first location with a simple mission: to create exceptional bread using traditional methods and the finest ingredients.
What started as a small operation has grown into a beloved local bakery, but our commitment to quality and craftsmanship remains unchanged. Every loaf is still shaped by hand, fermented properly, and baked to perfection.
Our Philosophy
We believe that great bread requires time, attention, and respect for tradition. That's why we use slow fermentation methods, which not only create complex flavors but also make our bread more digestible and nutritious.
We source our ingredients from local farmers whenever possible, supporting sustainable agriculture and ensuring the freshest flavors in every bite.
